Dalgona is a popular Korean sweet started in the early 90's. This street food often entices people to cut the embossed shape perfectly which often is rewarded with another Dalgona.
This treat has now found its way into many Korea desserts and drinks and even coffee.

Contrary to belief, Dalgona Coffee does not have any Dalgona. Dalgona Coffee is so named for its appearance and taste that perfectly resembles Dalgona.
